Tawnya Marney Celebrates 10 Years of Professional Partnership with Broker Nelle Tatum

Houston REALTOR® Tawnya Marney is celebrating ten years of professional partnership with broker Nelle Tatum of R.E.D. Real Estate Driven.

Marney and Tatum began working together in early August 2016. Marney entered agent training in January 2017, beginning a professional relationship that would grow alongside their real estate business.

Over the following decade, they worked through brokerage name changes, periods operating as a team within several brokerages, and an eventual return to independent operations. Through each stage, their partnership remained grounded in trust, adaptability, shared professional standards, and a commitment to serving clients with care.

“Ten years ago, I chose to work with Nelle Tatum, not a brokerage, and that choice has continued across several different offices. She has the vision, and I’m the systems person. She sees where the business is headed, and I build the processes that help us get there. That balance is why our professional partnership has worked and why I am proud to continue working with her at R.E.D. Real Estate Driven ten years later,” Marney said.

Marney now serves as Business Administration and Compliance Manager for R.E.D. Real Estate Driven while continuing her work as a Houston REALTOR®. Her current role reflects the depth of operational knowledge and responsibility developed throughout the partnership.

Rather than marking time under a single company name, the anniversary recognizes ten years of working together through change, growth, and the continued development of an independently operated real estate business.
